I don’t know if I would call it a passion, but I’m sure I can say that I really enjoy shorts – not the clothing type, rather I’m talking about short films that tend to range from 2 to 30 minutes.
Surprisingly, there exists a television show dedicated to airing shorts called ZED TV (there’s a link to its sight on the right panel), and it’s provided me with the chance to see what new short films are coming out. Usually I miss the show, but luckily the website contains a lot of the material that’s shown.
One particular short which caught my attention is called “The Raftman’s Razor.” It’s about two kids who become obsessed with a comic book about a guy in a raft who never does anything (The title of my blog is a quotation from the film). If you’re interested in seeing it, click on the link below:

While I was looking for more information on the Raftman, I came across another short titled “Are You the Favorite Person of Anybody?” The title alone could make up an entire blog entry on Cute Qubit, but instead I’ll leave you to watch the very funny movie on your own:

Next I came across a commercial absolutely filled with coloured rubber bouncy-balls. Not only is the commercial beautiful to watch, but it also has beautiful music playing in the background. The song’s name is Heartbeats, and you can listen to it at the top of the page (until I change it to another one). Anyway, here’s the commercial:

Lastly, a few days ago I saw a preview for a movie that looks pretty good. It’s called “Why We Fight” and it will be at the Princess Cinemas for the next little while. So if you’re interested in seeing it, or just a really hot date, then let me know. Here’s the trailer:
