Words to Think About

The other night I saw an interview with Stephen Lewis, who is the UN Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa. In the interview he said a few words which greatly appealed to me:

“You fight to improve the human condition.”

I leave you to think of whether your life is in agreement of not with Lewis’s words…

Note to the Reader

Cute Qubit was originally started so that I could have a forum in which I could voice my thoughts and opinions. Because of this, I strived to make my postings honest in content and fair in argument. Unfortunately, as much of the content I wish to speak about deals with my life, and as I my life is entangled with the lives of many others, my postings are also postings about the lives of others, who may or may not wish to take part in my blog.

Thus, as I feel this medium is inappropriate to the handle the material I wish to discus, I have decided to shut down Cute Qubit for an indefinite period of time. You may safely assume that no more posts will reach this blog.

I wish my fellow web-loggers more success than I in the development of their sites. Maybe someday I will go to Spain and then I will have something worthy to blog about.

Sad to hear of your decision Gav,

It is true that we are intwined with all of those around us, and that writing a blog is inevitably going to touch on those from past and present events...

however the blog is a free forum in which thoughts should be expressed by the nature of the medium itself, and it is much better to read into the insight of others, I think, then into an account censors for fear of what others think...

this is just me though

Hey Gaven,

I hope my tongue-in-cheek response to the entry a couple of days ago didn't create any trouble.

That said, I understand it is hard to know at what point in a blog one is saying more than they want. Writing in a blog is theraputic and this tempts me to sometimes "tell it all", which is OK for me, but not always for others. For instance, if Gini and I were having a "fight" and I was upset, I would be tempted to unload on my blog, but obviously that wouldn't quite be right.

So, I guess it is a balance that is hard to find (and different for everyone). You know what is best, but I would encourage you to keep it up, and maybe just ask yourself before you post each entry, if it may have ramifications for others that you would not intend.

Remember, 99.9% of the people reading your blog will be friends who just enjoy this extra way of keeping up with you.

Take care!

I'm looking for anyone who would like to provide any informative dental article or just a story about your dental experience.
