Blogs, blogs, blogs...

Currently I am under heavy attack from exams, so Cute Qubit isn't getting all the attention it deserves. So I figure now is a perfect time to mention the blogs which I've linked to (on the right panel) as some of these blogs might actually be run by someone who currently has more time than me.

ad Absurdum, and stir: The first blog I ever started to continually visit. It is written by a graduate student in philosophy (actually here in Waterloo), though philosophy isn't the only topic that he discusses. I particularly enjoy this blog as each blog entry is about a small chunk of interesting information, usually dealing with some recent development.

Darryn in China: This blog might as well be renamed Darryn at Home, as Darryn (one of my two brothers) has been living in China for many years now (and probably will for many years to come). As Darryn is somewhere different than Canada, he has the unique chance to talk about about day to day events that we're not use to here in Canada. Just check out the pictures to get an idea of the wackiness that is China (my favourite picture is a photo of a sign that reads unrecycling)

P-Car Chronicles (and other tales): If you're interested in cars, then you definitely should visit this site. It's written by my uncle (and godfather) Allan, who is a mechanical engineer, so he obviously knows his cars. Also, Allan throws in random chunks of humour, my favourite being the Calvin and Hobbes Snowman Series.

The Everyday Musings of a Sassy Blonde...: Written by Emily Ahlgren (I wrote a blog entry on her; check it out if you have yet to), this blog is pretty much composed of whatever interesting thoughts or events that have taken place recently in her life. Plus she posts almost everyday, so it's a good blog to frequent.

Just my Imagination: This is Lisa Lew's blog. As I've noticed, whenever Lisa has an interesting thought, she posts it here. So if you just want to put your brain to work thinking about something worthwhile, this is a good place to start.

maeghanjuneray: My friend Maeghan is currently in Africa, and this is her blog about her interaction with the people there. The blog is both uplifting (as she is helping people much less fortunate than her) and educating (as most Canadians know far too little about the lives of people in Africa).

My Curious Addiction: I found this blog while using the next blog button at the top right of this web page. This blog is such a great read! Each blog entry is about someone in Billy Jones's life. I strongly recommend checking out this blog. I particularly like the blog entries titled Ford and Jocelyn, but there are more gems than just those two.
